Unified Inbox for Seamless Multi-Channel AI Communication
Centralize every channel in one inbox. On LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Gmail and more, AI agents manage conversations, track statuses and engage across platforms, with real-time insights and personalized follow-ups for your users.Full Access to Historical Data Across All Channels
Retrieve and centralize the full message history of every linked channel, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Gmail or IMAP, without time limitations. Your agents get the complete context for smarter, personalized interactions and better decisions.Benefits of Unified Contact Profiles for AI Agent Builders
By unifying every channel within a contact's profile, Unipile lets AI agents act smarter, work faster and deliver higher-quality outcomes: the foundation of efficient, context-aware systems.Build Your AI Agent Integration with Your Coding Agent
Unipile runs one hosted MCP server for its whole API. Add it to Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI or Windsurf: your coding agent reads the real endpoints, writes the LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email and calendar integration into your agent's codebase, and tests it on a Development application.
A scoped key, never a global one. Create a Scope with your test accounts and a scoped Account API key for it. The MCP client then reaches only the accounts in that Scope, and you revoke the key from the dashboard at any time.
From One Prompt to Tested Code
The server exposes generic tools generated from the Unipile OpenAPI specification and updated with every API release. Your coding agent lists the endpoints, reads the exact schemas, then runs the requests.
account_id, a webhook handler for message.new and email.new that queues a run of your agent, and two functions your agent can call: read a thread, send a reply. Tested on the Development app with a test account.list-endpoints and get-endpoint return the real paths, parameters and body schemas of the Unipile API.execute-request runs the calls on a Development application with test accounts. Move to Production once the flow passes.MCP to Build, REST to Run
The MCP server stays in your coding agent, while you build. In production, your AI agent calls the Unipile REST API and wakes up on webhooks, on the accounts your users linked.
Any agent framework works: expose the REST routes your agent needs as tools through function calling.
Linked Accounts for Your Agent, with Hosted Auth
Your agent acts on behalf of each user, from the accounts they link themselves. Unipile hosts the connection flow, handles each provider's checkpoints and tells your backend when an account needs attention.
A Connection Page You Do Not Build
Your backend calls POST /v2/auth/link and the user signs in on a page Unipile hosts, on your own domain through a CNAME. You get back an account_id, with no provider login form to maintain.
Checkpoints Handled in the Flow
Two-factor codes, OTP, in-app validation and CAPTCHA challenges are handled on the hosted page, provider by provider, so your user finishes in one go.
Status Webhooks and Reconnection
When an account disconnects, an account.status.disconnected webhook tells your backend. A reconnect link from the same endpoint brings it back under the same account_id, and accounts linked with credentials can reconnect automatically with a stored TOTP secret.
Several Accounts per User
One user can link LinkedIn, WhatsApp, a mailbox and a calendar, each with its own account_id. A Scope keeps every API key limited to the accounts it should reach.
account.addacc_7Hq2Lm, Sarah Brownaccount.status.disconnectedacc_2Gy8Zc, Tom Kelleraccount.reconnectacc_2Gy8Zc, same account_idAI Agent Gateway: Automate LinkedIn Search and Data Sync
AI agents built for lead generation on LinkedIn now work smarter and faster. With Unipile's API, they search, analyze and sync data straight into your tools, on behalf of each authenticated user.
Effortless LinkedIn Search Automation
Let your AI agents run advanced LinkedIn searches for your target audience, with filters like job title, industry, location and company size. Agents retrieve detailed profile data, follow updates and gather insights for personalized engagement, without manual effort.
Enrich Leads Through Advanced Search
Enable your users to build enriched profiles straight from lead searches. With LinkedIn search data, they understand each prospect's role, interests and experience, and plan well-informed, targeted engagement.
Unipile is an independent technical intermediary, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. Searches run from the authenticated user's own account, and contact details appear only when the member shares them.
Integrated Calendar Sync to Empower Your AI Agents
Your AI agents talk to leads, candidates or users, and Unipile lets them act. With the Calendar API, agents propose time slots, check availability and create events from the user's context and intent. From a recruiter bot offering an interview slot to a sales assistant booking a demo, Unipile handles the sync with Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar.
Context-Aware Meeting Scheduling
Let your agent book meetings based on the conversation. Define logic such as "if the candidate accepts, schedule the interview" or "if the prospect replies positively, create the event".
Multi-Calendar Support for AI Personas
Connect several calendar sources to each agent persona (HR, Sales, Support). Your agent always knows when to suggest a slot, and when to avoid a conflict.
Event Management via API
Give your agent full control to create, update or delete events, with participants, video links and custom metadata for tracking.
Build Customized Sequences for Your AI Agents
Build multi-step workflows tailored to your users' needs. With Unipile's API, your AI agents run personalized sequences across LinkedIn, WhatsApp, email and more, for timely, relevant engagement that improves results and user satisfaction.
Create Multi-Channel Engagement Flows
Combine LinkedIn invitations, follow-up messages, email reminders and WhatsApp nudges in one flow. AI agents handle multi-channel interactions, so each contact hears from your user at the right time, on the right platform.
Fully Customizable Sequences
Define every step of an engagement flow with precision: send voice notes, comment on LinkedIn posts or send InMails. Each sequence adapts to its audience and context, for more relevant conversations and better results for your users.

Read the documentationChallenges Faced by AI Agent Developers
Developers struggle with fragmented platforms, time-consuming integrations and compliance with evolving standards. These hurdles slow down innovation and make efficient AI agents harder to build.
Platform Fragmentation
Every platform, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Gmail or other messaging tools, runs within its own ecosystem. Integrating each one is complex, time-intensive and error-prone.
Limited Time for Innovation
Developers often spend weeks building integrations instead of refining the core logic and features of their AI agents.
Maintaining Up-to-Date Connections
Platform APIs change often, which calls for continuous maintenance to avoid service disruptions and to stay compliant with GDPR, SOC 2 and other standards.
How Unipile Solves These Challenges
Unipile's unified API removes platform silos, streamlines integrations and keeps data in sync in real time, with robust security. Developers focus on building smarter AI agents instead of managing multiple APIs.

AI Agent API FAQ
Answers for developers connecting their AI agents to messaging, email and calendars.
Unipile's API is a unified multi-channel integration layer that connects your software to LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, Gmail, Outlook, IMAP, Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. It simplifies AI agent development by bringing the messaging, email and calendar features your agents need into a single API.
Yes. Unipile's API lets you shape every agent feature, from multi-channel messaging and historical data sync to automated workflows and calendar scheduling. You tailor each agent's behavior to the specific needs of your users.
Yes. Unipile runs one hosted MCP server for its whole API, at https://developer.unipile.com/mcp?branch=v2.0. Add it to Codex, Cursor, Claude Code, Gemini CLI, Windsurf or any MCP client, with a scoped Account API key in the X-API-KEY header. Your coding agent reads the endpoints, writes the integration and tests it on a Development application. In production, your AI agent calls the REST API and receives webhooks. See the Unipile MCP server.
With Hosted Auth. Your backend creates a link with POST /v2/auth/link, the user signs in on a page Unipile hosts, on your own domain if you set up a CNAME, and you get back an account_id. Two-factor codes and other checkpoints are handled in the flow. If an account disconnects, a status webhook tells you and a reconnect link restores it under the same account_id. See how to implement Hosted Auth.
Yes. Create a webhook endpoint and subscribe to the events you handle, such as message.new, email.new or account.status.disconnected. Unipile pushes each event to your URL, so your agent runs when a reply arrives instead of polling every account. See how to wire webhooks.
Yes. Our API is designed in line with the Digital Markets Act (DMA). We only provide interoperability for messaging and do not store user profiles or build any independent database of them. Unipile is not a Meta Partner, and our solution focuses exclusively on secure and compliant messaging use cases.
Yes. Clients must always respect Meta's Terms of Service: no spam, no mass messaging and no unauthorized automation or data collection. The API should only serve legitimate messaging scenarios such as customer support, team communication or user interactions, used responsibly and within Meta's rules.
Yes. Unipile is an independent technical intermediary, not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn. Every action your agent takes runs from the authenticated user's own account, once they have linked it. Unipile keeps no independent database of LinkedIn profiles, and the pace of messages and invitations remains the customer's responsibility, within the limits LinkedIn sets.
